Children's Musical Theater St. George


Children’s Musical Theater St. George is a children’s musical theater that provides affordable, family friendly musicals as well as singing, dancing, and acting classes and offers scholarships to those unable to pay.

CMT St. George also provides children with the opportunity to be involved with set design, costumes, lights, stage crew, etc. They even train kids how to direct and choreograph along with leadership training in their “Teen Mentor” program.

With the world-renowned theater Tuacahn next door, the area youth are looking for an opportunity to light up the stage. They ensure that all youth, K-12, will have the opportunity to learn to express themselves on stage and later in life.

The Stage Door

The Stage Door is a non-profit Performing Arts organization dedicated to providing the highest quality of instruction in the Arts. They also provide excellent theatrical productions and vocal performances for the general public including: Broadway Theater Series, Concerts, Summer Youth Camps, So Utah Vocal Edge Competition, Classes and more.

Tuacahn Center for the Arts


Tuacahn is a world-class professional theatre surrounded by stunning 1,500 foot red cliffs near St. George. In addition to Broadway caliber live theatre, Tuacahn also features great concerts in the spring and fall.

OC Tanner Amphitheater Springdale


The stunning 1,200-seat outdoor Tanner Amphitheater, nestled beneath the towering cliffs of Zion National Park, provides a perfect setting for summer concerts and events. Taking place from May through September programming typically includes country, rock, R&B, blues, roots, and symphony. It’s also now the home of the Zion Canyon Music Festival taking place every September. Southwest Symphony Orchestra

The Southwest Symphony Orchestra performs at the Cox Performing Arts Center on the campus of Dixie State University.

As the cornerstone of the arts in Southern Utah, the Southwest Symphony is now in its 36th season. The 75-member orchestra, conducted by Maestro Lucas Darger, fulfills a role in the community as a viable cultural resource of symphonic music and educational advocacy.  The Symphony also presents the annual Handel’s a gift to the community, thanks to its many community sponsors.  As a 501(c) 3 entity, the Symphony relies on funding through public and private sources.

The Southern Utah Heritage Choir

The Southern Utah Heritage Choir, now in its 25th season, is a 180 voice community choir providing wholesome and uplifting choral music in concerts, firesides, patriotic and community events throughout the year in Utah’s Color Country.  They have performed in concert tours across the United States and in seven international countries – with a tour planned to Italy in 2019.  The choir is under the musical direction of Dr. Ken Peterson, Conductor and Tami Creamer, Artistic Director/Accompanist.

Art Around the Corner Foundation


The Art Around the Corner Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the arts, enriching the community, and bringing fine arts to the heart of historic St. George. The Foundation’s flagship project is the Art Around the corner Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit, a collection of sculptures from nationally renowned artists. The show changes each spring, with approximately two dozen pieces installed annually.  The Foundation also provides educational tours to students in the Washington County School District, showing and discussing the current sculpture gallery and explaining the “lost wax” bronze casting process. In 2016, the Young Creators Program was developed to encourage and support secondary students in connecting their art with the community.

Silver Reef Museum and Ghost Town

Silver Reef was a mining town from the mid to late 1800s and became a ghost town in the 1900s. The Wells Fargo Express Stop, built in 1877, is now a museum and gift shop. For events and lectures happening every fourth weekend of the month, visit their website.

This leading art museum features fine traveling exhibits of many cultures and times as well as the work of local and regional artists. Located across from the main post office in downtown St. George, the Museum is part of a historic Pioneer Center for the Arts complex.  The family friendly discovery center is always available in the Museum for visitors to experience. Western Sky Aviation Warbird Museum


Western Sky Aviation Warbird Museum is an independently operated, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, restoring and displaying aircraft for the educational benefit of current and future generations. The museum is committed to the education of aviation. Open Wednesday-Saturday from 10 AM – 4 PM. Open Monday and Tuesday by appointment. Call Jack at 435-669-0655 to make your appointment. Located just beyond the entrance to the St. George Airport terminal, take the first left after the gas station.
