Tri-State ATV Jamboree

The Tri-State ATV Jamboree originates in the
southern Utah town of Hurricane.  The rides will be on the Tri-State ATV Trail System.

Mini Indy

St. George Art Festival

Easter Car Show

Over 33 years, many families have made the Hurricane Valley Rotary Easter Car Show a place to gather; whether entering a car or just enjoying the sights. Each year the Easter Car Show also welcomes many people joining us for their first ever Easter Car Show.

Dixie Power Kite Festival

Kayenta Street Painting Festival

Held annually, this is a full weekend event that brings students and professional artists together to create a colorful chalk explosion. With the asphalt as a canvas and chalk as the medium, large painted murals will unfold at the feet of thousands of spectators.

IRONMAN® 70.3® North American Championship

2500 athletes including the best pros in the world compete in the IRONMAN 70.3 North American Championship.

On the first Saturday of May, St. George plays host to the IRONMAN® 70.3® North American Pro Championship.

More than 2500 athletes compete in one of the most challenging and distinguished IRONMAN® 70.3® events in the world.  In 2017 the race featured more than 80 of the world’s top pros including winners of 13 world titles. Alistair Brownlee and Holly Lawrence (both from Great Britain) claimed the male and female titles in 2017.

The St. George course has a distinct reputation as a challenging and honest race that brings out the very best in competitors.  The scenery and terrain are definitely worthy of the athletes who compete at this level and the enthusiasm of the volunteers and community support are second to none.  Athletes say the ride through Snow Canyon State Park is unmatched on the IRONMAN®  circuit. St. George and surrounding communities are thrilled to host the top pros and the incredible age group athletes who will participate alongside them.

NJCAA Women’s Fast Pitch Championship

The City of St. George is honored to again be hosting the NJCAA Division I Softball National Championship Tournament at our award-winning Canyons Complex.

This tournament brings the 16, Division I Junior College regional champions in the nation to St. George Utah.

Red Bull Rampage Mountain Bike Competition


It’s the world’s premier freeride mountain bike event, Red Bull Rampage. Downhill, slopestyle and freeride MTB athletes will converge on the demanding terrain of Virgin, Utah to compete for glory in one of the biggest tests of skill and guts in the world.

Jubilee of Trees

The Jubilee of Trees is the largest showcase of custom designed Christmas trees between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.  All proceeds benefit health services at Dixie Regional Medical Center.
