Small Business Development Center (SBDC) – The SBDC is a government agency associated with the SBA, Dixie State College, Dixie Business Alliance and the Governor’s Office of Economic. Most services are FREE. They are provided by counselors who have many years of real world experience. The SBDC will provide one-on one counseling, all areas of business training, business plan development, custom seminars developed to meet specific client needs, analysis of financing sources for capital formation, market research, human resource needs and develop ongoing strategic planning. The St. George SBDC is one of 11 centers and 4 satellite locations in the State of Utah that are respected as “critical cornerstones in the development of small businesses in Utah” by providing key services to businesses from startups to mature businesses. Most businesses in Utah are classified as small business and all are potential clients of the SBDC.
