The complex is 110,000 sq ft and sits on 10 acres. The nature of our business consists of a variety of recreational services and community programs. More specifically, the Community Center includes gymnastics, swimming, group exercise classes, personal training, dance, martial arts, community education, and rentals. Our amenities include three full-size basketball gyms, a cardio/weight /aerobic rooms, an indoor track, an interactive rock-wall, an indoor/outdoor aquatic center, a child-care facility, and an exquisite reception center. Did you know that there is a difference between garbage and trash? Garbage is a term for food waste. Trash is a term for all other unwanted items. Have you ever thought about where all of your garbage and trash goes once it leaves your curb? It doesn't disappear, it goes to our landfill. In 2007, the residents of Washington County landfilled 122 milliond pounds of material. That means each household threw out 2,700 pounds of garbage and trash last year. Our trash is actually a resource which can be recycled or reused. It is our responsibility to figure out how to do so in the most cost efficient manner possible that brings the maximum benefits to our residents. It's our future too.

The Water District was established in 1962 in response to a petition signed by the property owners of Washington County. The Water District is charged with conserving, developing, managing and stabilizing water supplies within the county. The Water District provides water to over 85% of the people of the County and operates facilities from Kolob to Gunlock. During peak summer months, the Water District delivers over 34 million gallons a day to its customers.
