Memo to Salespeople--Success is Much Easier than you Thought!

It has been reported that salespeople earn the highest incomes among working people. It is also reported that 80% of the commissions paid are earned by 20% of the workers. This of course, seems unfair. If two sales people working for the same firm and selling the same product or service spend the same amount of time working, why should one earn four times the amount of the other? There are countless valid reasons, of course. But the most important will involve the two Ms--Motivation and Method...more

UDOT Region 4 Weekly Construction Report

The Utah Department of Transportation has selected to reconstruct parts of I-15 and various roadways in the Washington County Area. At the Bloomington Interchange at Exit 4, paving will continue as weather permits. Signing and road marking improvements are being worked on. Expect delays during peak drive times and during paving. Westbound drivers on Brigham Road can help alleviate traffic delays by keeping the access open to the adjacent gas station. Caution should be used while exiting I-15 due to potential ramp congestion adjacent to the roundabout construction.
On State Route 9, between 300 West To 800 North Hurricane, roadway widening is underway from 300 West to Main Street. Workers are removing existing sidewalk on the south side of the street and sewer system installation continues. Water and irrigation line replacement continues to progress northward from 300 East to 800 North. Utility workers are also installing new gas lines. The city is relocating power poles. Local residences and businesses should be prepared for potential utility disruptions, dust and other construction related issues. Traffic has been shifted to the north side of State Street. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained. Business accesses remain open. For more information, call the Utah Department of Transportation at 435-893-4702 or Click Here
