St. George City Down Payment Assistance Program is Back!
St. George City is excited to announce that its FY2009-10 funding allocation for the Down Payment Assistance Program (DPAP) will be in place this July. With the changes in lending standards the DPAP has proven to be a valuable resource for first time home buyers. The program offers a non-interest bearing loan payable when the home is sold or refinanced. If the home is not sold or refinanced within 15 years then the loan becomes a grant and is forgivable. The program provides up to $10,000 toward down payment/ closing costs and is available for homes located within St. George City limits. First Annual Climb to Conquer Cancer
The Red Mountain Spa, in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, will be holding their First Annual "Climb to Conquer Cancer" event to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. WHATS HAPPENING
UDOT Region 4 Weekly Construction Report
The Utah Department of Transportation has selected to reconstruct the Bluff Street Interchange (Exit 6) at I-15 in St. George, Utah. Finish work and clean up will continue in the area. Crews will also be working along Bluff Street on a separate project to upgrade traffic signal functions. No major traffic impacts expected this week. At the Atkinville Interchange (I-15 Milepost 2), Crews are expected to finish the chipseal job on ramps. Potential ramp closures while crews finish the chip seal coat. The east side of the interchange accessing the Southern Parkway remains closed to the public. On I-15; Washington To Cottonwood Creek, Milepost 10 to 19, there will be nighttime paving.
