Dixie State College of Utah Theatre and Music Departments are 'Turning Up the Heat!'

'Feel the Burn' as both programs unite to present the musical “110 in the Shade,” based on N. Richard Nash’s 1954 American classic play “The Rainmaker.” The production will run nightly March 10-14, at 7:30 p.m., in the Dolores Dore’ Eccles Fine Art Center’s Main Stage Theater. Dixie Regional Medical Center's Annual Jubilee Cup

The Foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center will hold the 12th Annual Jubilee Cup Charity Golf Tournament this year on June 4th at Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club and on June 5th at The Ledges Golf Club. Proceeds benefit bringing Life Flight helicopter services to southern Utah. UDOT Region 4 Weekly Construction Report

The Utah Department of Transportation has selected to reconstruct the Bluff Street Interchange (Exit 6) at I-15 in St. George, Utah. Rotomilling and laying down new asphalt is expected to begin this week. Landscaping, and finish work on the bridge and shoulders continues. Expect traffic restrictions on Bluff Street and Main Street this week as road resurfacing gets underway. Work will also be taking place in the evenings. Traffic exiting I-15 at the interchange should also use caution and be prepared to stop. At the Atkinville Interchange (I-15 Milepost 2) workers will continue landscaping this week. The east side accessing the Southern Parkway remains closed. No major traffic impacts are expected. On I-15; South of Bluff Street to Washington (Mileposts 6 - 10) Crews continue to install advanced traffic management systems including fiber optic cable. No traffic impacts this week. The Red Rock Rotary Club is creating the "Red Rock Music Festival". This will be an annual event on Mother's Day Weekend. This year it will be on May 9, 2009. This will be a free concert in the park with Southern Utah Songwriters Association. Ten bands will perform.
