The 5th Annual Zion Country Century

This year the Zion Country Century is celebrating its fifth year and is expecting to have a record turn out of cyclists coming to St. George to enjoy the fantastic riding weather. This year the course will incorporate a large portion of the St George trail system, allowing the riders to ride along the Virgin river and only ride 1 mile on the streets of St George before reaching Washington City and proceeding to the gates of Zion National Park. The ride will benefit the Spina Bifida Association of Utah and has evolved into the associations major fund raiser. Bike2Bike the producer of the event, and a fellow chamber member, is once again offering chamber members the opportunity to put material in our goody bags for only $25, half the normal price! They will be preparing 850 bags this year and need the material by February 17th. There are also opportunities for businesses to sponsor rest stops this year. This can be done by making a financial contribution or by manning the rest stop. Please contact Bike2Bike director Bob Kinney at either 801-677-0134 or email him at Bob@Bike2Bike.org for more information.
