CHAMBER LUNCHEON

This week's luncheon will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009 The luncheon this week will be held at the DSC Gardner Center. It will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm. Lunch will be served promptly at 11:45. Check-in is at the registration table, near the front entrance of each luncheon. Please arrive early to be seated before 12:00. The luncheon cost is $13.00 per plate. This week's luncheon will be presented by: Jordan Mathis of the SouthWest Utah Public Health Department, focusing on the status of the H1N1 virus in southern Utah; and Logan Reid from Southwest Prevention, speaking about prescription drug misuse in the workplace. Southwest Utah Public Health Department Offers H1N1 Vaccine The Southwest Utah Public Health Department will be offering H1N1 vaccine to people in the following priority groups: People ages 25-64 with high-risk health conditions (including diabetes, asthma, obesity, compromised immune system, and heart, lung, or kidney problems); Everyone ages 6 months to age 24 (including children 9 and under who need an H1N1 booster); Pregnant women; Caregivers of infants under 6 months old. "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" The Class Act Senior Theater Company of SunRiver proudly presents their Annual Christmas Variety Benefit Show. Dixie State Hosts the "Governor's Own" 23rd Army Band for Special Concert Dec. 4 In what has become an annual tradition since 1996, Dixie State College of Utah will present the "Governor?s Own" 23rd Army Band in a concert event on Friday, Dec. 4, at 7:00 p.m., at the DSC Avenna Center Cox Auditorium.
