Dixie State College Leads Utah in 2009 Fall Enrollment Growth Percentage

As Dixie State College of Utah enters its Homecoming Week festivities Monday, it will do so with the highest enrollment growth percentage increase in the state, as DSC officials announced a skyrocketing rise in the institution?s 2009 Fall Semester enrollment numbers. UDOT Region 4 Weekly Construction Report

The Utah Department of Transportation has selected to reconstruct parts of I-15 and various roadways in the Washington County Area. Workers are constructing storm drainage, installing conduit, excavating shoulders,
repairing soft spots in preparation for paving, pouring concrete, and continue other details associated with creating the new configuration. Most of the work is still centered between the southbound off-ramp and Pioneer Road north of the roundabout. Work has also begun near the east roundabout and northbound exit at the Bloomington Interchange at Exit 4. Caution should be used while exiting I-15 due to potential ramp congestion adjacent to the roundabout construction. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes if possible, especially during peak driving times. Evening work may also restrict traffic flow. On I-15; Washington To Cottonwood Creek, Milepost 10 to 19, Seeding and landscaping are underway and final completion details are in process this week. A new trucking ramp is now open. Potential single lane closures due near landscape seeding operations. On State Route 18, between I-15 and Dixie National Forest (Milepost 5.3 to 6.3 North of St. George), workers are drilling and excavation continues with occasional blasting.
