December 15, 2008 was the deadline to submit application to the Red Rock Rotary Foundation for the 2008 grant process. The Foundation board will meet in early January to review the grant applications. Organizations who applied for a grant will be notified in early February as to who will receive Red Rock Rotary grant funding from the 2008 monies raised. Red Rock Rotary raises money each year to present to charitable organizations in Washington County who work with children and youth. The Utah Department of Transportation has selected to reconstruct the Bluff Street Interchange (Exit 6) at I-15 in St. George, Utah. Workers are securing the pre-cast deck. Parapets are being formed along with
slab work. No major traffic impacts expected this week. On I-15; South of Bluff Street to Washington (Mileposts 6 - 10) Crews continue to install advanced traffic management systems, signs, and seeding the landscape. Watch for workers.
