UDOT Region 4 Weekly Construction Report
The Utah Department of Transportation has selected to reconstruct the Bluff Street Interchange (Exit 6) at I-15 in St. George, Utah. Workers are securing the pre-cast deck. Landscaping, cement finishing, and access construction is ongoing. No major traffic impacts expected this week. At the Atkinville Interchange (I-15 Milepost 2) Guardrail installation, striping and traffic signal installation are underway. Only workers are permitted on the structure. This is a work zone and should be considered dangerous. Access modifications continue. Occasional single lane closures under the interchange. The interchange is not open to traffic. Pioneer road will be closed from the Sun River Parkway north for approximately 3/4 miles. Traffic is being detoured onto Bluegrass way. Lastly, on I-15; South of Bluff Street to Washington (Mileposts 6 - 10) Crews continue to Install advanced traffic management systems, signs, and seeding the landscape. Watch for workers.
