Local crisis pregnancy center to hold 1st annual golf tournament

Hope Pregnancy Care Center will be hosting its 1st annual golf tournament on Monday, October 1st, at The Ledges. The event will be hosted by football great, Jay Schroeder of the Washington Redskins. There will be a shotgun scramble starting at 9:00 a.m. A buffet lunch will be provided following the game. Hole sponsors include Steven Wade, who will be offering a Cadillac for anyone who gets a hole-in-one. The cost for participation is $150.00 per player, or $600 per four-man team. Bobby Lawerence Karate will be having a Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting on Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th of September.

The Ribbon Cutting will be on Friday, from 11:30 until about 2, and they will be teaching free lessons on Saturday for the Grand Opening from about 9 am until around 2pm. PaintAmerica “Top100” Show Makes Final Tour Appearance at St. George Art Museum from July 21 to September 22, 2007

The Exhibit will be shown at St. George Museum, 47 East 200 North in St. George, Utah from July 21st to September 22nd. The show features a selection of paintings from the 2006 PaintAmerica Top100 competition, one of the richest national artists’ competitions in prize money and purchase awards. Also included in the exhibit are selections from the “Mini Top50”, a special exhibit for paintings of 180 square inches or less...more
