The 2007 Chamber Workshop Series Presents The Chamber “Chill-Out”.
The hot summer months of July and August are the perfect time to “Chill-Out” at a free two hour Stress Reduction Workshop. Workshop size is limited to 20 people. This workshop is on August 16 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The workshop will be led by Pat Sapio. There is no charge, but you must RSVP to Trudy @ 628-1650 ext. 3

SPECIAL EVENTS
DSC's Summer Concert Series at the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater in Springdale, continues Saturday, July 28, with the a cappella renderings of The Standards.
Take the tight harmonies of The Beach Boys and combine that with the smooth moves of the Temptations and you have the award winning a cappella group The Standards. Currently being hailed as one of the hottest corporate acts in the country they bring a cappella music to new heights with their unique style and sound. It will blow the audience away. Dixie State College's Dolores Dore' Eccles Fine Arts Center Sears Museum Gallery will be host the "Max Bunnell - Retrospective of an Artful Life" exhibit
The exhibit will run from now through August 25, and will feature a number of his water and oil paintings, along with various sketches. The Sears Museum Gallery will be open from 9 a.m. To 5 p.m., Monday-through-Thursday. Admission is free to the public.

SEMINARS, EDUCATION, & WORKSHOPS
Dixie State has extended its scholarship application deadline to Wednesday, Aug. 1st.

The Dixie State College of Utah Student Services department has extended Wednesday evening hours to better serve current and future student needs leading up to the start of the 2007 fall semester this Aug. 21st.
Students will be able to receive assistance in advisement, registration and financial aid until 8:00 p.m. In addition, the DSC Testing Center and Bookstore, along with other services, will also be available for student use.
