Chamber Luncheon at the Holiday Inn with Diana Guetschow speaking on "Effective Meetings" from 12 noon 'til 1PM. Cost $12 per person.
|
Our luncheon sponsor is Westside Studio.
Dance and the Arts are steeped in tradition and discipline. They are a great part of the Humanities, which is the backbone of our society. Their students at Westside use the tools they develop in their training at Westside Studio to be even better students academically, structured and confident individuals, physically healthy, appreciative of the soul and the beauty of music and the Arts. We are the lucky ones, for the creation of beauty through the Arts is the ultimate in human satisfaction. It passes on tradition and gives us hope.

Tuacahn presents Restless Heart & Little Texas on Saturday, May 5th at 8:00 pm.

Restless Heart was one of RCA’s greatest band success stories of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, turning out a series of gold-selling albums, garnering a host of award nominations, and crossing over to the adult contemporary charts before dissolving in 1996. Their hits included “I’ll Still Be Loving You, “ Tender Lies,” “Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right).” “When She Cries,” “Bluest Eyes In Texas,” and “Dancy’s Dream.” With a fresh perspective, the band is on the road again, selling out shows and creating new music that can only be described as inspired. The sound is blissfully familiar, the stage shows are electric, and one can only say that America’s favorite rockin’ country band, Little Texas, is poised for a return to prominence with their feet firmly planted on the ground, loud and proud.
