Valpak of southern Utah Announces the New Mover Mailer, an advertising medium that reaches the new movers in the Washington County.
Every month a list is obtained of the new movers in Washington County and a brochure of coupons is mailed to them. The booklet is 8’ 1/2 by 11’ and each coupon is a third of a page. Cost is going to be $960 for 10,000 brochures! (Can break up into 6 payments of $160 a month if needed) It’s a great way to reach new clients; Washington County averages about 700 new movers a month! New Education Supply Store Teachers/Students, need educational supplies?
The Jason Griffith Team, at NAI, leased 2280 SF of retail space in Dixie Sunset Plaza, on Sunset Blvd, to a new educational supply business. The store plans to open within two months.
 
New Medical Office Planned for Hurricane.
The Jason Griffith Team, at NAI, assisted with the sale of acreage in Hurricane. The land was purchased with plans to build a new medical office (built-to-suit). The parcel is located just east of the RE/MAX office at 2500 West State Street.
 
ERA Office Rolls Back the Clock.
The Richfield ERA Brokers Consolidated office was looking for a new home. With the help of Joseph Iwanski, at NAI, they found it. Plans are to convert the Richfield Conoco convenience store and gas station into the new ERA offices. To commemorate the occasion, ERA sold the remaining fuel at 1982 prices, the same year ERA Brokers Consolidated was formed.

Results of the Southern Utah Trucking Association’s Scholarship Golf Tournament.
The first annual Southern Utah Trucking Association (SUTA) Scholarship Fundraising Golf Tournament took place last week at the Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George. The Utah Department of Transportation is pleased to announce the release of the UDOT's Long Range Transportation Plan 2007-2030 for public comment running through April 26, 2007. SOS Staffing held a ribbon cutting and open house to showcase their business and new office remodel on Thursday, April 5th.
Along with the ribbon cutting SOS Staffing did a “passport” event to help educate people on the different services they provide. Stations were set up for each person to visit. Areas included safety training, employee testing, drug screening and the benefits of direct hire. After each presentation attendees received a stamp on their passport. The Legacy Subaru Mitsubishi Jubilee Cup will be holding its 10th annual golf tournament May 30-31st, 2007.
Thanks to tremendous support from the community, the Legacy Subaru Mitsubishi Jubilee Cup will become a three-tournament event this year. The $700 per team/ $175 per individual registration fee includes one foursome, a tournament gift for each player, and two admission tickets per player to the dinner and auction at Entrada on May 30th. Funds raised from the Jubilee Cup provide critical support for Dixie Regional Medical Center, and strengthening rehabilitation, pain and spine services to both adults and children.
 
SouthWest Federal Credit Union’s 5th annual 10K Run and 5K Walk are scheduled for April 21, 2007.
