Nate Johansen

Nathan Johansen looks to nature for the forms he uses in his work, seeing complex themes of emergence, rhythm and process in simple objects like
seeds, wood grain and rock shards.  He has a deep sensitivity to the creations
of the world, and to the possibilities in each one of us.  You see this embodied
 in his sculptural works. 

A lifelong resident of Utah, Nathan graduated with a BA in Fine Art from BYU.  Nate has worked in the art casting field for 18 years, coordinating fine
art casting at Metal Arts Foundry in Lehi, UT.
