Johnny Woolsey

Johnny Woolsey is a Utah native who grew up in a family who did not know
the words "you can't do that."  There was always a dialog about how to make,
fix, or re-engineer things with the material and tools at hand.  After utilizing
his design and fabricating skills in various industrial settings he moved
to Washington County in 1995 with his wife and children.

His style is decidedly contemporary adnd modern, although at times
with a touch of whimsy.  He has a strong sense of balance, form and
geometry with work that ranges from intricate silhouettes and
wall reliefs to sculpture and architectural pieces. 

His work is in many private collections and includes collaborations
with designers and architects, most recently at
The Ledges development north of St George.
