David Turner
David Turner was born and raised and
now resides on Virginia's Eastern
Shore, which is a wildlife-rich peninsula sandwiched between the
|
Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
The study of wildlife has been a primary focus in David's life.
David and
his father operate Turner Sculpture, which as served as their
studios,
foundry and gallery since 1983.
David has a degree in Biology from the College of William and
Mary and is a member of the Society of Animal Artists.
He has created over 30 large
public-commissioned sculptures, including works for the National
Zoo, Brookgreen Gardens, the Philadelphia Zoo and Benson Park in
Loveland, CO.
